Rev. Fr. Daniel Wright
A native Texas, Father Daniel grew up in the small town of Electra. After attending Colorado Christian University, he enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary near Boston. It was there that he first encountered Orthodox theology and met his lovely wife Presbytera Sarah.
In the summer of 2008, Fr. Daniel and Pres. Sarah were chrismated in the Orthodox Church, and one week later they were married.
Fr. Daniel earned a master's degree in Philosophy at the University of Oklahoma in 2009. And in 2018, he completed a PhD in Theology from the University of Virginia. In 2020, Fr Daniel received an MDiv from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. He was ordained to the holy priesthood on August 30th of that year and began serving St Nicholas in September.
Fr Daniel and Presbytera Sarah are the happy parents of three children: Andrew, Ella, and George. Together, the Wright family enjoys hiking, movie nights, classic books, and board games.
